The Chesapeake Chapter is proud to count among its members some of the most accomplished maritime professionals in the industry. From ship captains to maritime executives, our alumni have made significant contributions to global shipping, national security, and their communities. Master Mariner & Industry Leader

Captain O'Sullivan commands the MV Evergreen State, one of the newest LNG carriers in the MARAD Ready Reserve Fleet. With over 30 years at sea, she has navigated every ocean and mentored dozens of young mariners entering the profession.

"The Chesapeake Chapter gave me my start," reflects O'Sullivan. "My sponsor, Captain Frank Morrison (KP '68), taught me that success in maritime isn't just about technical skills—it's about character, reliability, and taking care of your shipmates."

Notable Achievements: First woman to command an LNG carrier in the Ready Reserve, recipient of the 2023 Kings Point Distinguished Graduate Award, and mentor to over 50 midshipmen through our chapter's mentorship program.
